Luis Jrs in Sacramento

Now I have eaten at this place. However, years ago my family and I loved to eat at Luis restaurant. I bet you are his son! I have no doubt your food is great. As I get older and I are great restaurants go out of business it really leaves a hole in my heart. I miss the days when I was younger. I met Luis a few times. Great man, one of many great men I have met. Thank you for keeping his dream alive.

We stopped here for lunch on our visit to Old Sacramento. This restaurant is hard to find as it is downstairs inside a courtyard. The waitress was really attentive hence very happy with the service. I had the chicken enchiladas plate and it was tasty. The margaritas were not as strong as I would've liked but overall a great place for the family to visit. This is a pet friendly restaurant.

Soda was watered down even though I ordered it with no ice. Salsa was watery. Waitress gave us a rude glare when we asked for ketchup and then gave us a rude attitude when she told us there wasn’t ketchup. Too expensive for the quality of the food overall. Male waiter was nice and respectful and funny I appreciate him.

The best Mexican rice, beans and salsa I’ve ever had. I really enjoyed the experience here. Except my fish taco was not that good. It was soggy on inside and hard on the other. However, the sides were amazing! Their customer service was impeccable that is why I’m giving them 5 stars!
